Just for amusement...

So I know you all are stressing about the early decisions (as am I) so I came up with a hypothetical question that might help pass the time away.

If you were given a time machine that you could only use ONCE, going to only TWO dates in time, December 1st, 2006 or October 28th, 2006, would you:

a)Use it to fast forward time until the day when decisions were announced OR
b)Use it to go back in time and fine tune your essays, applications, gather reccomendations, etc…

Personally, I would choose “option B”. I’m pretty confident in my application but I think if I could go back in time and write an essay about being the first man to time travel, I’d definitely be a lock for UVa lol. What university wouldn’t want the world’s only time traveler?

Well feel free to add on to the thread or come up with games or other prompts to pass the time because I know you all, along with myself, check this site everyday for application updates!

Ah, the only thing that I would do if I choose option B is change a semicolon to a comma in one of my essays. I found this mistake some time after submitting my application. But overall, I am leaning towards choice A, but I am obviously influenced by my impatience.

^^If it makes you feel better, deans most likely wont care about something minor like that. The purpose of the essays is to reveal who you are, not necessarily your spectacular grammar. Of course, you shouldn’t submit an essay with terrible grammar but I seriously doubt that semicolon to comma would make a difference.
