i have a woodstock pizza in my town.
it’s the best!

:)
:)

I’m about 25%ish. About half of you. ![]()
My grandma lived in Denmark her whole life. I’m not sure how she met my grandpa but when they married they came to the Bay Area (Fairfax to be exact) and raised my mom and her siblings. We call her “gwamma” instead of “grandma” because with her thick Danish accent she can’t pronounce her r’s. It’s hella cute and she’s this tiny little Danish-cooking machine.

That’s cool about Laura Ingalls Wilder! That can be your claim to fame. ![]()
And I will definitely make you Danish treats but sometimes it’s difficult for me because I don’t eat meat! But in the words of gwamma, “YOU MAKE IT WOOWK!” (work)

Jack, another thing we have in common is Apple! I know this because your default photo on Facebook is clearly a Photo Booth snapshot! ;)

…right?

Okay so I lied, I’m not half, I just asked my daddio, and I’m 25%(ish) too! He’s half.
Yeah I remember my great-grandparents both had accents. We called them oldefar and oldemar. but it sounded more like oldfa and oldma i guess. They used to curse in Danish and it’s really funny. They would have been like 107 now ahaha!

:D
We can be vegetarian(ish) Danes together (I’m actually pescetarian)!!!

Yeah, I have a macbook!
got it for christmas!

HAHAHAHAhaaha I totally know what you mean about Danish cursing. We have two dogs and whenever they misbehave, we routinely yet “FEEEEE petahensket!” That is the complete butchering of the actual spelling but in all honesty I have no idea how to spell it. But it’s something Danish that means …something.

p.s. yay for macbooks! i’m on mine right now! ![]()
p.p.s. i just wikipedia’d pescetarianism. that’s cool! i’d never heard of it before!

hahaha!!!

mee too, i’m on my beloved macbook…

yeah i couldn’t give up my precious fish! it’s a danish staple and it’s delicious. hahaha, but meat makes me gag, and chicken i can sort of tolerate, but i still think it’s gross. plus, meat has tons of cholesterol and fat. blahhh!

so pretty much go you for going the whole nine yards!
oh and i’m gonna be really bummed if i don’t get in. i’ve never met anyone that has any connection whatsoever to solvang or being danish. :[

i want to make delightful danish treats, and yummy things. ;[
hopefully i will. hahah

don’t worry, you’ll get in. and if for some reason the universe guides you down a different path, we can still be danish buddies! :)

^^ that was the Northern California hippie inside of me talking. Kinda comes with my whole package… :S

ahahahahah omgggg. yeah same here.
i’m feelin the northern californian hippiness as well.

last summer i took an eastern religions class, read 'Siddartha" by Herman Hesse, and i was like obsessed with like buddhism and shinto and like being mindful and harmony hahaha i wanted to spend all my money and backpack japan, and meditate under waterfalls and under cherry trees…all that jazz. for like the entire summer.
i freaked my parents out a little i think hahaha.
Parents: “Be an architect!!!”
now all that has passed a bit…hahah
but i’m still a hippie at heart. ;)

if only i was danish… anyone german? haha

thats ok, i’m digging the apple love flowing through here.

haha ich bin auch deutsch!
(I am german too!) just a little bit. ;)

gotta love the apple! once you go mac. you never go back!

I’m 25% german too! and a lot irish, and the rest is all mushed together into tiny percentages.

im german, polish, french, and english

hahahah yeah i’m danish, a little bit german, a little bit irish, and 50% english (my mom uncle and grandparents are from england).

nice… i’m over 50% german, a bit scottish, and a bunch of other things. I definitely have 100% mac in my blood though, so it all works out for the best.

lol everyone told me, “why do you want a mac?!? they are so hard to use, after using a pc all your life!!!”

what the heck. mac is so intuitive, and i feel as if i can seriously never go back to pc. i love my mac so much, it’s amazing. it has so much storage capacity too…

my next trip to europe will definitely be germany/austria/switzerland/denmark/sweden. for sure. i have done france, england, the netherlands, all that jazz, now i want to explore my heritage, ahaha ;D

qman, do you have a myspace or facebook?

[Quincy Milloy | Facebook](Facebook)

i have a myspace, but i never check it…

I want to go to europe some time… never been there.

I have requested your Facebook friendship! :)

I’ve only been to London, but I know Cal Poly has a great program where you can travel to sundry European countries over winter break. I think it’s a couple thousand, but I’m definitely looking into it.

sweet. I have accepted your facebook friendship.

I think i’ll probably do a study abroad, but not sure where yet…
