<p>ldmom06…I love it! I have to admit, I admire the Tarheel pitchers. They have an amazing group of Pro talent. We’ll see…we’ll see…as Jym points out, Rice has that David vs. Goliath thing going though.</p>

<p>^I know…lol. It’s terrible…I’m fighting my Rice loyalty so I can focus on my 'Heels. (There I go again with the podiatric thing…)</p>

<p>And I’m in the same boat as jym…my youngest’s (9th grader) top choice schools are Rice, Rice, Rice…and then UNC. (And then Duke only on the days he wants to needle his sister.)</p>

congrats! 7-4. UNC played better. Lots of homers. And Rice kept stranding baserunners. And Brian Friday… well… this just wasn’t his day. So well done, and know that I’ll be cheering for you for a better outcome than last years finals! Same two teams in the finals! When was the last time that happened??? Like a million yrs ago?</p>
