thanks jym…bittersweet win that’s for sure…but we’ll take it. (Finally sat down and watched the game in the top of the 7th…lol! Didn’t like that strike call on that outside pitch to Rice though…thought Rice got ripped off on that one. ) And yes…Beavers again. But this time maybe the 'Heels will come out of the loser bracket to win it all! (crossing fingers).

Calling all CC parents to send the positive vibes the 'Heels way. That includes all of our Duke ‘moms’ too…lol!

I just want to say, from the West Coast, that I am rooting for the Heels (and would have rooted for the Owls) against those pesky Beavers, who kept my boys from Omaha last year in the super-regionals :(. Go Heels! (And have fun y’all!)

I am unfortunately now out in the midwest as my fa in law passed away yesterday, so am not going to be able to follow the games (and am on a very poor and very unreliable internet connection). How did the Heels do yesterday? I am cheering for you! Go heels!

I have to say, Oregon State played great baseball…but that article was the biggest ‘pile’ of conjecture I’ve ever read. Couldn’t the guy write a nice complimentary article about the winning team without taking shots at the losing team?

(jym…my 'Heels just didn’t have it. I’m so sorry for them; I know a few of the boys are gonna go pro and I wish they could have had that win. Such good kids and deserving. Oh well…que sera. One of the team members is my d’s friend…his fb profile says ‘life goes on’. And it does.)
