Kinda slacked off....help?:(

<p>Okay I’m a freshman and I totally slacked off this year so far…I took easy college prep classes and stopped trying. Partly because personal reasons. I got called in to do my four year plan and now I know I have to step it up. My teacher recommend me for GATE(kind of like honors but for freshman and sophomores) next year so I’m going to take the test at the end of the year… But this is my plan if I get into advanced classes…</p>

Spanish 1P: A
Ag Resources(FFA science class):was an incomplete because I didn’t finish part of my final but now it’s an A
PE: D
English 9P: B
Algebra 1: A
Health/Floral:A/C</p>

<p>Sophomore:
Spanish 2
Ag Biology Gate
English Gate
Geometry Gate
AP Euro
Choir</p>

<p>Junior: (Spanish 3 over summer)
Ag Chemistry Honors
AP English
AP Psych
AP US History
Algebra 2
Choir</p>

<p>I have 2 options as a Senior: (take honors physics over summer)
AP English
AP Gov/Teacher Assistant
Sociology
Honors Math Analysis(Pre calc)
Choir
Ag Econ(required to take this to stay in FFA)</p>

<p>OR</p>

<p>Take math analysis over summer and this will happen:
AP English
AP Calculus
AP gov/Teacher assistant
AP Environmental Science
Sociology
Ag Econ</p>

<p>What should I do?:\ Do I have to take calculus?? I know its good for college applications but I’d rather just stop at pre-calc. Sorry it’s long… I just need advice… I want to get into a UC.
Preferrably UCSB or UCD</p>

<p>How do u get a d in p.e.? It was like a relaxing class for me. Just had to dress out and do what the teachers say.
Relax on ur classes. Focus on school, don’t be afraid to ask questions and u will do fine. And remember not to give up. Don’t stress out so much right now.</p>

<p>GOOD NEWS. </p>

<p>UC’s don’t look at freshman GPA. You are fine. </p>

<p>Take a look at UCSB and UCD averages. You’re gonna need about a 4.1 weighted and 1900ish SAT to have a good shot, 4.2 and 2100 to be certain. You CAN still do this.</p>

<p>Only problem: UCs hate D’s. Can you retake PE or get it to a C somehow or something?</p>

<p>Make sure you have some ECs</p>

<p>Also calm yourself. You can worry about 11/12 schedules when you get there.</p>
