Kohls stores are a mess. Their shoe selection is a special sort of mess, the boxes of different shoes and different sizes all co-mingled together. Their petite selection of jeans is meager. I have better things to do than sort through piles and piles of jeans or shoes on the slim chance they will have my size. Granted, I despise shopping regardless.
Their online shipping is very slow, but online is a great choice if you know the specific size and name of the shoe or jean and the store isn’t apt to stock your size, H is a Rewards member and regularly gets “free shipping” codes. @raclut check retailmenot or Kohl’s site for free shipping (these occur often, as do the 15-30% off deals) if you prefer the ease of home delivery.
I think Kohl’s does get an A++ for their ease of returns.
Using the store kiosk is a pain, but get free shipping. That has come in handy.
Got a $10 card for my birthday, which is tomorrow.
Haven’t been in the store for a while, and realize now I should have gone in today - as it was the last of the ‘lowest prices twice a year event’ and also with earning Kohl’s cash. Last time I was in, I scored two great dresses off clearance that work really well for me (stretchy fabric and stylish) - got compliments on the one I have worn.
Retail in our area is actually pretty good - not sure if it is level of regional/store management or what.
I have quite a lot of JCP that I will use - $10 for my birthday, also several others that started today, $10 of $10, $10 off $25. Can always find stuff to use those up.

I didn’t read the thread but wanted to add that I’ve had mostly positive experiences. This month there was a $27 (gasp!) late charge on my small overdue bill. I called and explained it was a snafu due to long vacation, and the removed the fee.
Today I had $20 Kohl’s cash expiring. I didn’t feel like going to the store, so I did online order of bra style I like, using the free option for store pickup. When I do pickup, I’ll tryi it on and exchange as need (hopefully that will work.)
Wow, Thought I would pick up an extra ivory tablecloth for a large gathering here next weekend. The tablecloth was $27 online, but available at a nearby Kohls store, so I hopped in the car and headed over there. At the checkout, the same tablecloth was $49.99! I did go ahead and purchase it, but I will be returning it for the one I ordered on line upon returning home. So beware!! This is why I seldom shop that store - I feel like I am paying too much! And their quality is disappointing.
We lost our JCP store due to mall being torn down and local city leaders couldn’t come up with a suitable to JCP business location. So doing more at Kohl’s.
I like the Kohl’s our house because they have nice things but I rarely shop there because they don’t have enough cashiers. Too many times, I’ve put things back and left once I saw the long lines at the front.
