Kohls...never again.

I was once at Sears, and bought 2 things. I paid for them, and as I was walking out of the store, I realized the person hadn’t charged me the right amount (it less than $50 total). Each item was on sale for 20% off, but she gave me 40% off. I went back to the counter (where the checkout person was busily talking to what may have been her SO), and she said I was correct, it was 20% off each item, and I got 2 items, so that was 40% off. At that point, I just said thank you and walked away.

ETA -clearly I should have purchased five things, so they would be free.

If Kohl’s doesn’t have something in the store and I want to use up $10, etc along with 30% off or whatever offer - I go to the order kiosk - free shipping, and if I don’t like it when it comes in, I just go to the store and refund (credit on my Kohl’s card).

JCP just had $10 off $25 - I guess they are back to allowing you to use multiple times. DD2 liked some heavy leggings, and after trying on the Miss’s small realized she needed the XS - so I ordered. Store had light grey ones, but catalog only had black, brown, and navy, so we order 2 pairs of the black so we could have the $10 off, and total was $30 for two. Then I had seen a Cuisinart medium sized (mini prep) on door buster for $40 ($20 off). I thought it was something DD1 could use, so I went back and got it. At first the coupon wouldn’t go through, so the check out gal used a 25% off coupon, and then the $10 off worked for some reason. Our store had the lower level cash registers/scanners replaced, and she said she hoped the upstairs units would get replaced too. I was happy.

Does anyone have the Kohl’s 30% coupon that is good until 9/25/2016?

Thanks.

@Hopeful820, retailmenot says its HARVEST30. If that doesn’t work, try the good buy of the day thread.

@1214mom, I tried the HARVEST30 already before I posted it here, didn’t work. I was hoping Madison85 will have it. She posted them a few times. I guess I will have to settle with the 20% they mailed me if no response on this thread. Thanks.

@Hopeful820: It’s TREAT30

Yes, @Hopeful820 , just checked my mailer and it’s TREAT30 through September 25.

You can put an @ in front of my username and I’ll get a notification that I am mentioned in a thread. :slight_smile:

@3bm103 and Madison85, thank you.

I don’t shop at Kohls that much anymore since the one closest to home has closed down!! I have a few things that I can shop online with pretty good sale price this week.

Hi @Madison85, I forgot to put the @ in front of your screen name again. You always come through with the 30% I need! :slight_smile:

I haven’t shopped Kohl’s in several years and now someone has used my online account to buy a KitchenAid mixer. Just spent quite a while on the phone with their fraud department and must say that she was very helpful. This version of fraud is new to me. They ordered the mixer on my account, changed the email associated with the account, but are sending the mixer to my home. The rep said that they aren’t even interested in the mixer; all they want is the Kohl’s cash that comes with the purchase. The problem is that when I return the mixer, they will deduct from my refund any Kohl’s cash that has been used. Of course they are making me whole, but what a pain that I need to lug a heavy mixer back to the store and go through a 60 day fraud investigation period.

The mistake I made was keeping my credit card attached to my online account. Don’t do it! Thank goodness they sent an email to confirm the changes they were making to my account.

I have a $5 kohl’s reward for this month. Not sure I will use it.

Just purchased something from kohls yesterday with the 40% off mystery coupon I received in an email.

Oh, Grits80, Kohl’s would be picking that mixer up from my house or I’d keep it. Kohl’s should figure out a way to track the Kohl;s cash certificates and the cash register should explode with lights and sirens when stolen certificates are used.

I was given the option of refusing delivery from UPS, but all that does is slow down the process of clearing this up. They are also trying to cancel the kohls bucks, but it’s very possible they’ve already been used. They seem to be very aware of what the fraudsters are up to.

I just need to cancel my Kohl’s card. There’s no reason to have it hanging out there for the rare times I shop there.

I must say this about KOHL’s near my home. the store is pretty much empty but the check out has a line like an apple store when they release a new phone. not sure where all the people in check out come from…since the store is not busy.

I have $25 rewards to use but I don’t want to pay shipping and it is not exactly close to my home. Can I order online and pick up at store?

But if you are going to bother to drive to the store to pick your order up to avoid shipping costs…why not just make the drive and purchase what you need instead of ordering???

Yes, you can order online and pick up in the store. I think they will hold it for several days. You can take advantage of Ebates by ordering online.

I just wanted to be in and out of the store. I don’t usually shop there and just wanted to be one with the errand not aimlessly looking for something to purchase. When I would do select a store online nothing would happen.
