Yep, you have to have their charge card. It says it right on the coupon.
I know some people don’t like to have the ‘store’ credit card, but to me the savings are good because I do not overspend on our budget.
My kohls charge card serves me well again…got to avoid a trip to the store and nabbed a pair of new balance walkers to use for work in the lab. Hard to find in store wide width, easy on line.
30% coupon code, free shipping code and 3 % ebates credit. 42dollars and change.

Thanks for the New Balance tip. I’m a wide too. I usually get them at an outlet store, but this may be cheaper.
Kohl’s - Got $10 off on my BD month. Then also had a Yes 2 You $10 off. 20% off too, so merchandise that was originally $40 (2 items, each $20), had buy one get $10 off second; my final price was $8 and some change.
JCP had another coupon, $10 off $25; plus could also use at a separate purchase 20% off. H needed new underwear - it was half off second package, then $10 more off. Got two running shorts clearance and a dressy top at half price, then the additional 20% off.
Just have to take the time to go shop even when you may not feel like it.
Though I don’t claim to be a Kohl’s fan, yesterday I received a gift card/coupon for $17 and a coupon for an extra 30% off everything for my “anniversary” present from Kohl’s for being a card holder for 17 years (really? It’s been that long???) At $17 I will have to stop in and make use of that somehow!!!

Wow - $600,000 in stolen $10 cash back rewards! Wonder what they spent it on?
[quote]
Prosecutors said Pavan Gurram and Vanaja Gattupalli used a computer program to steal cash certificate numbers belonging to customers. The Kohl’s Cash program gives customers $10 certificates for every $50 they spend.
Authorities said Gurram is a computer programmer and the mastermind of the fraud. A plea agreement says prosecutors will recommend a sentence below the guidelines of about 10 years in prison in exchange for his cooperation. That includes helping the government locate stolen money in overseas accounts.
The Journal Sentinel reported the FBI opened an investigation after some Kohl’s customers complained they weren’t able to redeem their rewards certificates. Kohl’s is headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Last week I went to Kohl’s because I had the $17 gift card as mentioned in post # 109 above. I also had a 30% off coupon. I was reminded of why I DON’T go there anymore! Tried to find a pair of shoes - anything that I was remotely interested had only 1 or 2 sizes in on the shelves (not mine of course!) Prices really could be high for kitchen items - and there was not much selection in colorful towels I needed to buy for a gift! Anyway, DID get some cookie sheets for D1 though not sure if they were a “deal”.
But, when I went through the cashier and gave her the $17 “gift card” she used it and gave it back to me. I said, “you can throw that away since I already used it”. She said, “no, it’s good till the 25th you can use it as many times as you want to before then”. I said, but it’s a gift card that wouldn’t make sense. She INSISTED it could be used over and over! I said, “so I could put these things in my car and walk back in the store and continually buy $17 worth of stuff for free until Oct. 25th??” “Yep” she said, - “if you don’t believe me, try it!”.
Sigh. I didn’t. Who would want to take the chance of getting caught!!
Wow!
You could have taken it straight to her to try. Then when it didn’t work (which I’m sure is the case, unless it was something like $17 off a purchase of $X), well…you wouldn’t be accused of anything.
Yes, could have done that. It wasn’t worth my while. I was just a bit bothered that she didn’t “get” that of course you couldn’t use something like that more than once! I tried hard to get her to see my point - just so she could understand that her way could not be right - but no luck!
If you can find an employee they often have more sizes in the back. You can also use the in store kiosk to order them, shipped for free.
Right. But you can’t try on shoes that way. This was meant to be an “in and out and don’t know when I’ll be back” trip!
Abasket, it wasn’t the $17 you can use over again but the 30% off. The sales clerk was obviously wrong.
Oh I know that ! But the register lady INSISTED you could do that with the $17 coupon too. I pointed that out to make sure she which one she was talking about!!!

Lol, that’s so funny.
