Korean

^Really difficult language to master. Can’t speak it fluently yet. However i can communicate and start a conversation with anyone in korea.
One of the hardest languages to speak with ease. Agree?

yeah… i’ve been trying to learn and its such a pain. chinese is just as hard i think if you’re non-native.

No one here attempted to learn Korean?

Actually, and this usually comes as a huge surprise to most people, but I speak Korean. I have an uncle that lives in Korea and until I was 11, I visited/he visited. He taught me it, and I still speak with friends. I have a TERRIBLE accent. My first language was Farsi, and my second English, so the whole combo is a bit weird.

I can’t write/read it either, but I can hold down a conversation very well.

I agree, though. It’s a hard language. Hardest? Don’t think so. I still think Arabic is rather difficult. English, too, I’ve been told.

I don’t think it’s that difficult for me; then again, I have Korean background.

I think it’s difficult because of the accent and the dialect- the specific sounds of the vowels and consonants. If it’s a slight variation when you say it, it can sound completely off. If you don’t have the dialect and accent down first, you can sound extremely weird.
