Ladie's jeans with no stretch?

Are there any jeans available that aren’t teen fit low rise that don’t have stretch? I’m so tired of my jeans stretching out one to two sizes from morning to night. I’m talking about jeans that hit near your navel and don’t have distressed fake wear and don’t have bling on the pockets…just normal jeans. No spandex stretch “comfort” “flex” etc,
I’m clinging to my old ones but every brand seems to have moved to the stretch fabric.

Try Lands’ End. I’ve been very happy with their jeans. They have different “fits” – meaning where they hit you around the waist – and only a very slight stretch.

Here you go: http://www.landsend.com/shop/womens-jeans/-/N-h1b?cm_re=nav--women--catagories-_-jeans

I would have thought the spandex would keep the jeans “springy” and keep them from getting stretched out. I thought the nature of regular denim was to have some give upon wearing.

How about old school Levi’s 501 jeans? 100% cotton, no spandex or other stretchy materials.

Lee makes women’s jeans in 100% cotton but you may have to go online to find them. I’m with you, I’m not interested in buying jeans with stretch; they change too much.

I’m guessing Levi’s still has 100% otton jeans? Maybe at kohlsKohls Sears?

You could try selvedge denim which is stiff (you break it in) with no stretch. Very expensive and very “in” right now. Often Japanese lines. You aren’t supposed to wash them for a year or so.

I like my NYDJ that do have some stretch. They do not stretch out or bag out, even in the knees, but remain comfortable.

I agree. I want 100% cotton. Land’s End have too much stretch for me; I just sent back two pairs. I am going to try these next http://www.zappos.com/levis-womens-501-customized-and-tapered-jeans-indigo-trail

A problem I have been having is my pants falling down!! I have been buying various brands of "skinny " pants, for instance MK. All fit well in store but when wearing, they fall down. Yes I am buying appropriate size. It has actually been getting tighter recently. Ugh. That is another problem.

So I have added a button or hook or whatever to the right of the other one for these pants. They are all expensive brands and I do not want to give them away. So far the additional button have been working. Went on a several mile hike today in jeans I was going to give away. There was no problem. Hooray!

I’m very happy with my NYDJs. They are snugger at the end of the day than my Levi’s are.

That’s what belts are for

Thank goodness the low rise jeans are going out of fashion and waistbands are rising again!! They sure were around for a long time.

Try LL Bean.

I was also going to recommend L L Bean. So glad to hear that others have the same complaints I do. I thought everyone in the world except me preferred low rise - that’s all I could find forever -as said above!

Low rise fall down on me. Yes, I know that’s what belts are for, but the belt buckle would land smack in the middle of my protruding stomach, emphasizing it. Plus i do not tuck in my tops, making it even more of an issue.

Yesterday I noticed Lands end had a sport pant with an elastic waist and pockets. Translation: old lady pants. I’m going to order them. I don’t care any more. I just want to be comfortable.

I’m glad to hear the high rise is coming back, but I have yet to see it.

Madewell has wonderful high rise jeans in a skinny skinny style that I love. They look and feel great, but do have stretch. They’ve had them for over a year. I just ordered another pair. They are still very stylish and not at all “mom jeans”, but they have the higher rise.

Man, I hate belts! I don’t think I even own one!

MOWC, do you have a link to that Madewell style?? My girls love their jeans for wear, style, etc.

With denim, you get what you paid for. Higher quality stretchy denim has higher quality Lycra in it, so it bounces back. Skinny jeans or any leg-hugging jeans should have elastic in the fabric to provide enough stretch; otherwise, the person risks problems with circulation:

https://www.madewell.com/madewell_category/DENIMBAR.jsp Right now the high-riser is the featured jean on the website. Madewell is a JCrew company but right now has much better quality since JCrew has slipped.

I’m very short-waisted (and short!) so high-rise “mom jeans” have never worked on me. I’m so happy that mid-rise is finally popular. I was gifted a pair of Talbots’ “boyfriend” jeans" that are 100% cotton, no stretch. While I usually prefer a bit of stretch, these are very soft and comfortable as they age. I love them. Sadly, they are now too large and I will need to donate them. I’ve been eyeing a new pair, but don’t want to spend $80+ on a pair that won’t fit soon enough as I lose more weight. They do have different cuts and styles in all-cotton, though, so that might work for you.
