<p>MOWC: thank you for posting (#298) exactly how Lance changed things for many of us. He may have saved my husband’s life with his advocacy for healthy recovery from cancer (he’s now been in remission since 2001–and that’s when my husband became a cyclist). He may be a jerk and a bully and a terrible person… but I can’t forget that he inspired my husband and many others to get on a bicycle.</p>
