It seems like everyone who get accepted so far had a phone interview. Has anyone who applied RD gotten a phone interview.

@psohom

My stats are

3.96 GPA
195 PSAT :(

But like you, I have amazing business-related ECSs and I think I nailed the Entreprenurial Baseline, the essay and the PowerPoint.

@Dilan412
I’m wondering the same thing. I know they extended the RD deadline so that may be why we haven’t heard back from them yet? Have you received any form of communication from the Launch program after you submitted your app?

@ijustwantsuccess : Congrats! @Dilan412 … I’m sure you’ll do well as PSAT is not what they are looking for. It is more about your EC’s, Interview, and stuff. :)

@themajestic when i submitted my app I got put into Early Admissions by the computer (see discussion in earlier posts). I emailed them about this and they said it was a glitch on the system. Other than that, no.

I also recently got accepted. If you are interested in knowing my stats send me a pm.

Congrats! @c0nman

I didn’t submit any test scores and had a GPA 3.83 UW 4.23 W. What set me apart was my internship undert an MIT grad at his startup, a rec letter from him, and currently competing for the Verizon Innovative App Challenge (used the essay from the challenge as well as the video in my app, and received best in region award two nights before the interview). Boy Scouts also help set me apart.

Does anyone know if the program is worth the money and how it looks on college apps esp. for MIT?

@ijustwantsuccess

The program will pay off in two ways
- The company you start (if it is successful)
- The college boost

The college boost I would say is good but not very impressive. I think a college like MIT sees your summer as either not well spent, well spent (anything productive), or incredibly well spent (RSI). This would probably fall under the 2nd category. What would move it up to the 3rd category is what you actually do at Launch and if you continue to work on the company and are successful. Also this will likely open up more opportunities because the people there will be very well connected.

Well said, @c0nman. I agree with you completely. :-)

Nicely said

Everyone that has gotten in applied early right? Just making sure I didn’t miss an email or something

I replied early and was deferred. I will not hear until April.

I just learned I was admitted to another very competitive program. Launch would be my first choice.

Should I e-mail Launch?

Haha… Yes. @themajestic

If you were to email Launch, what would you say? @binkie

I got in to LAUNCH!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Congrats!!! Did you apply regular? If you don’t mind, can I PM you for your stats.

I applied regular and I expected to get the decision on April 15th but instead I got it today. You’re welcome to PM for my stats.

Just got the email about a phone interview - fingers crossed!
