"The driver of the vehicle arrested after the crash, 45-year-old Perry Peables, was booked for six counts of DUI with injury and property damage as well as DUI refusals, according to an interview with St. Lucie Sheriff Keith Pearson.
Pearson stated that Deputy Skylar Guertin, Deputy Jeffrey Anzalone, and Fort Pierce police Officer Corey Bernardini were in the process of pulling a driver from a car while conducting a felony stop at North US 1 at 25th Street when Peables failed to stop and crashed into the back of the patrol vehicles with police lights on."
"The other driver was identified as 21-year-old Facundo Ramos-Batalla.
Ramos-Batalla faces charges of Operating While Intoxicated, Failure to Yield the Right of Way Upon Left Turn, and Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License."
“Three Merrillville police officers were injured Tuesday morning while stopping a driver who was allegedly attempting to harm himself and others by driving into oncoming traffic on the Indiana Toll Road.”

Please slow down and move over a lane when you see emergency lights on the side of the road(police, fire, EMS, towing services).
“Once the SUV stopped, the passenger, 41-year-old Chester Williams, got out of the car and started shooting at the troopers. They returned fire and shot Williams.”
