Just found this thread, I really hope I can meet you guys this summer! I am so happy to have made it to part 2 of the LEDA application! It is honestly a total dream! Now I am just anxiously waiting to hear back for part 3.
Well, it’s February 13, and no response from LEDA. I’m assuming its safe to say I’ve been rejected

Hey, I had the same issue as someone who previously posted something. I moved on to part 2 as well! SO EXCITING!!!
But, they said they need all of the info within 2 weeks and I take my SATs in one week which I have studied a lot for.
My PSAT scores from October were a 139 but I’m confident that I have improved since then!
Does anyone know if they’ll affect me a lot or not?
Is LEDA still accepting applications? I actually found out about this program back in November, but when I saw that the deadline was in less than 2 weeks, I decided to not apply. Today, I found out that the deadline was extended to December 5th, and now I’m super mad at myself for giving up. In previous posts, it was mentioned that LEDA is reviewing applications “at a rolling basis.” So, back to my original question, if I submitted my application within a week, would it be still reviewed/accepted? I would really appreciate it if anyone could take the time to reply.
@mzr1998 Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re accepting applications anymore :(. The registration tab on the LEDA application website says registration is closed. I’m pretty sure that Dec. 5th was the final cutoff.
@dejaleida I want to know about the interview phase too!! I’m so anxious. I want to know about what percentage of people make it from round 2 to the interviews…

you all shouldn’t be too worried, last year people were getting accepted all the way till March.
knowing more application stats won’t really help with anything, you’ve already submitted, all there is is the waiting game. just chill and enjoy junior year, cuz trust me, the wait for college acceptances is MUCH worse.
I just got notified that I’m moving on to round 3 and will have an interview! Ahhhh so excited!
Ok i have a problem. I got into round two but i had an issue with the tax return because @my parents dont file taxes. My school was also out all of this week so i couldnt give them my transcript info. I emailed mrs. Iris but never get a response. Will i lose my spot if i dont comply with the two week thing? Is there a number i can call for this issue? @ @Kjulep18 @TheCynicalAsian

@jaomillenium I had to go to a website and select two possible times, but it will be sometime next week.

@eraofcat I don’t think they will, but makes sure you let them know about it. LEDA’s Recruitment hotline was attached into the email when they notified. They are really considerate. Make sure you explain your situation to them. Call Ms. Iris!
@Quasmay I’m sorry, LEDA don’t release any numerical statistics. In fact we did not even know how many people was interviewed for our cohort. Good Luck!
@gabrielamarie Many applicants did not get notifications on Feb. 13. I called Ms. Iris and they said they are still reviewing applicants. I think they are comparing every candidates fairly before they make decisions. No worry don’t lose hope. Good Luck!
@Ashlyvez Nope, Scores were not always based on your ability as a student. Most of the time, it is based on your school. I scored 22 on my PLAN test. I scored lower than your PSAT. However, I still made it. It’s about your curiosity to learn! I think that what’s matters most. Good Luck!

do they still notify applicants for the enterviews?
