But i honestly believe she didn’t do due diligence to show the love. She had all this literature from when S applied, and from when the admissions visited the school= and so didn’t even sign up to be on their mailing list! She didn’t officially visit, but had seen the school with her team but hadn’t bothered to sign in. Lots of things. Mostly I imagine her ACT composite was just a little low (lopsided high English, low Science and middling Math)</p>

<p>I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed because Lehigh is my top, and I’m not really sure what to do to improve my chances- but congratulations to everyone who was accepted! :)</p>

Not a big deal though. It stings, but I got into Bucknell which I liked more than Lehigh. It probably didn’t help my chances that I wrote my essays the day they were due. Just waiting on Penn and Cornell now.</p>

Fourth school I’ve been waitlisted to, not a great feeling.</p>
<p>How are the people with 2000+ sat waitlisted? They look ideal for lehigh!</p>
<p>I was ACCEPTED (Engineering) with 1270 (680M and 550R). My GPA was 102 weighted and I was 24/576. Regular amount of EC’s, no interview, and only AP courses for senior year. But i did write a good essay lol.</p>
<p>Also waitlisted I was waitlisted by a few others too, but Lehigh’s my top choice. I’m not ready to give up, so i’ll probably send them a letter and maybe an extra recommendation or my most recent grades. Is it a smart idea to call the admissions office and ask them what exactly put me on the waiting list, or will they not answer that?
Also, does anyone know how many people they take off the waiting list?</p>

<p>accepted! so excited Lehigh is my dream school and i cannot wait to go! i heard nothing but good things about this school, the campus is gorgeous and the class sizes are perfect i cant wait to meet all of you guys who are attending in the fall!:)</p>
