I don’t think it matters
There’s no set date, it would be different for every person
i was accepted off the waitlist today
Son from NJ just got an acceptance letter off the waitlist for engineering. His close friend from same HS got the acceptance letter also. Lehigh must be getting a lot of no’s from the regular admission pool.
Just got off of the waitlist… weird. Ill be denying them
Strange thing happened. Was waitlisted last week. Today, I got an acceptance letter. Signed, confused but happy.
???
I also just got off the waitlist and accepted into engineering today.
30 ACT
1350 SAT
3.7 W GPA
Just got off the waitlist!!! So excited. Kinda weird timing though.
I just got off the waitlist as well! I am a biochemistry major.
Hey did the people that got in see it on your portal too?
Yup, on the portal.
Great thanks, also anyone who got off the waitlist it would be great to hear anything you did to get off (if anything)
All I did was check the box saying I’d like to officially stay on the waitlist. Does anyone know why this would be? Seems really strange to get off the waitlist after one week.
Just got off the waitlist! College of Arts and Sciences.
My S just go off the waitlist as well. That was pretty fast. Too expensive for us to attend as he has good merit offers at other schools.
I was in the middle of writing a letter of intent, but I guess I don’t have to send it now, seeing as I already got off the waitlist. I didn’t do anything special other then accept my waitlist place.
Do you guys think that the waitlist decisions come out in batches, ie like every week? I don’t think it’ll be all at once but I could be wrong.
do waitlists at other schools all come back this early? I always thought it was after 5/1.
Don’t know for sure but guessing that expensive schools like Lehigh will have to resort to the waitlist more so than the less costly publics due to what’s happening with the economy and other uncertainties on a global scale. Although I am sure the publics have to deal with lower yield rates for OOS acceptances (which may be offset somewhat by higher yield rates for in state acceptances).
