less selective prep schools

anyone know of any less selective preps? not exeter, choate, deerfield, sps, or andover… they’re crazy :p

Try the MAPL conference schools- Hill, Mercersburg, Peddie, Hun, Blair, Lawrenceville etc. They are great academically but less selective than Andover, Exeter et al. Also, Cushing and Williston-Northampton are excellent.

I live near one called St. Andrews. It’s where “Dead Poet’s Society” was filmed.

Baylor or NHS.

Ask in the prep school forums.

Those aren’t that less selective than Andover, SPS, etc. Lawrenceville’s acceptance rate is only 29%.

There are many less selective prep schools. What area of the country are you looking for? I recommend looking at boardingschoolreview.com because you can find a list of acceptance rates.
