Less than 1200 SAT. Where did you end up?

<p>a friend of mine got into ucsd with an 850 (roughly) on his sat’s and 3.5 gpa! i also have many other friends who got into ucla and uc berkeley with sat score in the 1000 range.</p>

they are now focusing more on SAT IIs than on SAT Is…</p>

<p>I got into Berkeley with a 1220 SAT I and 640, 670, 800 SAT II in writing, math, and spanish, respectively. I don’t know, I guess I just got lucky…</p>

<p>4.1 UC GPA, Student Body VP, and stuff like that. I think her mom works there, but doubt that made an impact.</p>
