<p>I’d steer clear of Five Towns. My local high school has sent a few reasonably talented music students there, and their careers have gone nowhere – and I know at least one of them majored in Music Ed.
I’d give a serious look at Queens College. It came to our attention too late in our D’s applications process, and it seemed to be a pretty reputable program.</p>
