<p>It would be wrong of UCSD to do this if the students hadn’t SIGNED A CONTRACT that stated that they understood that their admission would be revoked for D’s and F’s. It wasn’t like UCSD just randomly decided to kick out everyone with D’s and F’s. Everyone had to sign a contract. They knew the consequences. If they chose to ignore them and hope that everything will work out anyway, they have no one to blame but themselves. The only exception would be someone with a REALLY good reason for getting a D or F, like a death in the family, or a serious illness. “My teacher is crappy and only one person got an A!” doesn’t count.</p>
