Roll on you BEARS!

Now guys I want you to consider the cost of attending Berkeley… Consider that when you vote.

How in the world did this happen? UCB, the $50,000 tuition monster and Northwestern both beat out Caltech and UChicago? Where has this world gone…

Save NORTHWESTERN !! Go 'Cats Go!!

HELLS TO THE YES BEARSSSSSS

University of California–Berkeley 7

good game. a pleasure playing!

Since retro is away, alwaysleah or dfree should make a new list.

Wait I don’t understand… How did Berkely win? Must be rich folks on here…

Calicious put a minus for Berkeley and a plus for Northwestern but did the opposite when changing the numbers…

No, let’s keep the LACs, but let’s make it like a seeded draw. How about we make two pools - one for LACs and one for NUs, with the top 32 LACs and NUs in each group and have the top 8 seeded and the top 4 or 8 from each pool advance to the octos/quarters and face off - no seedings. Shall I make a pool?

@Descuff Cal is a lot cheaper for in state students, but even then it’s still probably the most expensive in state public school (along with the other UCs).

@Princeton Ah, do you mean like tournament style? That would be cool. We could have one colleges versus another each round and every member would vote for each one every round. It would go by way faster too.

Ex:

Harvard vs Yale? Harvard

Princeton vs Columbia? Columbia

Penn vs Dartmouth? Penn

Brown vs Cornell? Cornell

Then the top 4 against each other…

Idk if that’s what you meant, but that’s what came to my mind haha. Might be interesting.

Yup!

So let’s have 8 seeds? or 16?

for a new game, use a different thread, please

to sumobats: calicious wrote ‘go bears’ under the vote, so people assumed he made a mistake

but everyone knows what he meant

This game isn’t too technical. I found a mistake way back on 6/25 where two people voted at the same time and one of the votes was overlooked and never corrected… but it’s all water under the bridge. once 24 hours pass, you really can’t go back to the mistakes because strategy is already in place.

If we do 32 colleges, 8 seeds. If we do 64, 16. I would like to do 64 since this game will go by pretty fast, but I don’t know how one would determine the top 64 colleges. We may have to resort to… USnews…

Haha, I think so too! Lets do 64, and alas, use US News. grr, a necessary evil. :P
