Let's say random things

breaking 1000 posts should not really be anyone’s goal. it’s not exactly something to be proud of lol

@Marine…

After 1st quarter, I had a C+ in Chem and a C in English… so my parents hopped at the chance of me not being on Robotics, because they don’t like the coach of it.

Even though those grades were fixed within 3 weeks, and they won’t let me back until the end of the semester.

I wouldn’t reach for 1000 posts.

O beautiful for heroes prov’d
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life.
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness,
And ev’ry gain divine.

I need to do my homework.

In the control room making sure the rest of the sports crew is on air on KCSB-FM 91.9. . .

Chile v USA Soccer game at Home Depot Stadium.

***You guys should hear me broadcast the UCSB-USC men’s volleyball game live on Wednesday, 26 January on KCSB-FM 91.9. . . :)

Of course you’ll have time in college. Nobody sleeps their first year.

It would be pretty impressive to get 1000 posts in a week. That’s a post every 10 minutes.

I would definitely be proud of that.

Does that factor in the time for sleep? Or else one would only be able to achieve it during the first of year of college (which I guess would make the feat even more impressive…)

No, if you take away 6 hours of sleep per night, 15 hours of class per week, and 10 hours of out of class work, you’re down to 6 minutes per post.

It’s worth keeping in mind here that with the 1 minute minimum in between posts, it takes > 16 hours and 40 minutes to accumulate 1000 posts.

^Oh, dear. I feel like a loser O_O but oh well haha CC is too helpful of a site for me to leave

This site was never really useful for me

Actually, I probably have thousands of posts by now

friend’s first impression video made me laugh, and made me remember how I was as a kid.
Bullied all throughout middle school, Scooby Snacks thrown at me…

and yet they still saw me as a brick wall. Say I took a lot of ****. Makes me feel… wanted.

Kind of the same here. I don’t know that I used that much info from here during admissions. The UCLA forum is actually pretty useful now since it’s mainly populated by current students rather than high school noobs.

^^ facebook, MIT?

^ Explain?

This site has always been very helpful for me.

^^ was that “first impression” video done on facebook?

Yeah and it’s also on YouTube.

This site has been enormously useful to me. Mainly because I live in the middle of no where, so it helps to know what everyone else is up to–how many opportunities really exist. Keeps me happy and motivated.

I want 1000 posts because…Idk. Because I want to be a senior member? hahaha One post every ten minutes…geez. I don’t even think I have enough to say. That’s why my post average is about 0.5 per day. :P

Thanks to CC, I know what “self-studying” is, what summer programs to apply to, what books are the most helpful for APUSH + a few subject tests I’m taking, etc.
I also know who will be my competition next year (:

yea, homework is definitely not getting done tonight like I planned.

Am I the only person that thinks porkperson and polarscribe look almost the same. I mean it’s hard to differentiate at first glance.
