I don’t suck at math in class (mid 90s), but do when it comes to subject tests. Yup.

Sleep.

That word… I feel like it meant something to me 37 hours ago.

I’m really worried about a friend. From being a jubilant, outgoing kid, he’s now suddenly extremely quiet, almost morbid.

If you guys want, say a prayer or something for him please.

^oh no. Did something happen to him? Family issues, maybe? I hope he returns to his usual self.

What do you think happened? Depression or family death?
I’ll pray for him.

Turns out a really good friend of his passed away. He’s under a lot of stress from that and school.
Thanks guys. Maybe it’s a bit odd to put something so personal on an anonymous forum, but I kinda wanted to get it off my chest. And anonymous support still helps.

Yay I’m glad it helped you. Now you know why he’s feeling this way. It’ll take a few days or weeks or maybe even months for him to return to “normal”, but he will. Just be patient and caring!

I thought about volunteering for this thing at the hospital (8 weeks, 9 A.M-5 P.M) but, meh… My and my soccer buddy have recently become infatuated with long distance running and we ran 2 miles a day for the past 5 days. I’m really digging it and want to get up to 5 miles so, i’m thinking about saying F it to the hospital thing and instead just keep on running and maybe take up cross country in the fall. What do you people think?

@Daxlo: You should definitely keep running and maybe pursue cross country later on this year.
You could always just volunteer someplace else at another time.

Kobe killing the knicks.

@Daxlo: or wake up earlier/do it when you get home.

I love Rotel.

There’s a thread on the theater/drama major forum about stress from rejections, and my first thought was to post “It’s okay, don’t be so dramatic,” but I decided that would be mean.

It’s a sad thing when a pun as excellent as that goes to waste because of politeness :/

@ quomondu but, that’s the problem i already wake up at 6ish to pack everything in on school days and, on the weekend i either have soccer games or i’m swamped with homework. I really want to be a doctor but, running is just so fun. I feel so good when i’m doing it. It feels even better than soccer.

Anyone else feel like this?

So get up at 5:30 rather than 6. How long does it take you to run a couple of miles?

I’m back on HSL !!! yayy it’s been awhile. When did this place become so lame? :(

****, i could run probable 4-5 miles in 30 minutes but, the fact is that i’d be too tired for school and then soccer after school. So, i’m not too sure about volunteering fr this hospital thing. I want to be a doctor so i thought it’s be a nice fit. But 9-5 for 8 weeks? That’ll kill me.

Where the ef did ilovefgump go? She was the source of some serious laughter on these forums.

^ She got banned.

Came back as LexusLover… banned.

and eastafro… Welcome Back!

HSL has been on a downturn since about the summer.

Btw… I’ve been on here for a year!

It’s my CC-versary!
