Letters of Recommendation?!

<p>For my letters of recommendation, I have the normal 3 (2 teacher + 1 guidance). But I am having one of my teacher write a letter specific for UVA. This teacher is an alumni of UVA and my student council advisor. I brought Pancakes for Parkinson’s to my school as an annual fundraiser for student council. In case you didn’t know P4P was founded at UVA and is its largest fundraiser. </p>

<p>Will this significantly help my chances of acceptance? especially since I am OOS :(</p>

<p>I don’t think it will “significantly” help your chances but I’m sure it can’t hurt. However, I was once told by a GC (she is now fired so I don’t know if you or I can believe this) that the heaviest file is the first to sink.</p>
