As a liberal myself, I am not at all impressed with how college students have protested / prevented various notable people from speaking on campus - Condolleeza Rice and others.
I’ve found conservatives (both political and religious) to be much more tolerant than the liberals for the other side of the argument. The conservatives may disagree with you, and may pray for your doomed soul, but I think on the whole are polite and interested in your opinions.
Not including the Westboro ‘Church’.

@fractalmstr Commencement and convocation are two very different types of events. Also note, that all undergrads are required to attend convocation at LU.
