<p>Walking out of work to a beautiful day- blue skies, light wind- with nothing else I have to do.</p>

<p>Starting off the day with espresso outside with dog at my side. Ending said day, in the same position, with a glass at great whiskey and a cigar and dog at my side…aaahhhhh</p>

<p>I appreciate my book group.
We must have been meeting for 15-18yrs now. Several have moved away, and a couple lost interest but we still have a core group of 8-9 women who get together every month.
Its nice to have the structure of a regular meeting and knowing that you can miss a month and not have to worry about coordinating schedules</p>

<p>Puttering around my garden and planted 6 peony plants that I purchased from Costco. Each plants have about 4-5 buds. I feel like giving myself an early mother’s day gift. :D</p>

<p>This is a thread about life’s simple pleasures- the waft of fresh coffee brewing in the morning, the smile from a stranger, the feeling one gets when helping someone with a heavy package or a runaway shopping cart (these were mine this weekend.) </p>

<p>Sunsets, a good book, a long dog walk, snuggling my dog or cat, the laughter of my children,watching the trees bud & bloom in spring, watching leaves turn color in autumn, ocean views, stars in the night sky, a full moon setting over the water, a delightful dessert.</p>
<p>Oh, oh, just remembered, a real pleasure this year is NOT doing the FAFSA, finally!</p>
