Only time I don’t have lipstick on is when I’m running. I experiment with different brands and colors, but love to top it off with BareMinerals wand glosses. Like Nars lipsticks.
I have never worn lipstick. My mother, not a big wearer of any makeup, always wore lipstick. I still remember all her tubes eventually distributed on every side coming to a tip.
I usually have chapped lips. Lipstick would help. Not sure why I never wore.
This two-stage lipstick ROCKS. It stays on for quite a while.

(This link shows more colors - and they are perfectly matched to liners).
Really? I get special requests for lipstick, including trampy deep red…
I have to do the lip liner outside lip line especially as I’ve gotten older as my lips have gotten thinner. I also use just lip liner when I’m out and about during the day in summer. I got tired of my lipsticks getting melty so don’t carry them in my bag when it’s hot.
I work in a harsh environnment and find that I have to put lipstick, gloss or balm on at least 5 times a day. Have developed a habit of applying lipstick every time I get out of the car to enter someplace. Look dead without it. I go through a lot of lipstick! Still haven’t found the perfect product or shade because I never get to a mall to shop for the upscale products.
I agree with BunsenBurner. That Chanel lipstick was a game changer for me. I would often skip lipstick because it never stayed on very long. Then I tried the Chanel and now I never go without it. My favorite color is #40 Light Rose. I love it so much I bought one of those mini spatulas so I can scrape out every last bit.
I have a few Revlon favorite shades. I buy duplicates of each and leave a set in my desk at work, a set in my travel bag, a set in my purse, a set on the bathroom counter.
I love lipstick. It really makes me look polished. I wear mostly reds and corals. NARS Shanghai Express is my current favorite, but I also love Lipstick Queen Jungle Queen.
For drugstore brands, I love ELF lip stains. They really last forever.
I don’t wear lipstick on a regular basis but my go to color for the last 20 years is Clinique’s Raspberry Glace. Lucky for me they often put this color in the Clinique gift bags with purchase.
My latest favorite is Bobbi Brown’s Uber Pink - not as pink as the name suggests, a great neutral for my fair complexion.
I have a custom blended lipstick from a store near me. Even got to choose the flavor - cinnamon.
I do notice that I do look better with lipstick on, younger and less tired looking. So far, my favorites are Lancome Lasewood and Clinique Butter Shine Adore U. But, I’m getting some good ideas from this thread!
Once I find something I like, I have no sense of adventure. I’ve been wearing Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick for at least a dozen years.
When my sister visits once a year, we have our regular visit to Sephora. I like to change lipstick after a year. Newest one is Bobbi Brown Plum Shimmer. New blush is Nars Amour. Both are brownish/pink.
I wear lipstick whenever I leave the house. I put on lip balm for a base, then Estee Lauder Pure Color Pinkberry.

Clinique almost lipstick. Black Honey. I love it.
Dior Rock n Roll - a sheer pinky coral that is very flattering. Brightens my face, but is not heavy or too obvious. Really, just right. I’ve purchased this particular shade over and over.
Another vote for the Clinique almost lipstick in black honey! I also love the new Burt’s Bees lipsticks!
:bz I rarely leave the house without one of those on - even to yoga!
I have tried many times ( and brands ) to wear lipstick. It just doesn’t work for me. It always makes my lips peel. I wish I had a nickel for every suggestion for this or that brand to prevent the inevitable drying effect.
I have come to the conclusion that I have some sort of allergy to lipstick.
I never leave the house without mascara at the very least
