<p>Sorry, no news on U of Chicago. Does anyone have news on “extended” WLs for Penn or Haverford?</p>
<p>MomLive…D received almost the exact same letter for Cornell this week. To my knowledge, they haven’t taken anyone and most likely won’t. Dartmouth took a mere few and said those who remained on their extended list (had already cut several) would be notified of final status at the and if the month, but it was unlikely there would be much movement. D is also in Princeton’s list and has been told they’ll release everyone at the end of the month. Similarly, Vandy has said on their blog that they’re hoping to release their list by July 4th.</p>
<p>Lesilets…D was on Penn’s WL but did not make extended one; consequently, I don’t know if there will be any more mvmt.</p>

<p>Has anyone heard anything recently about Bowdoin? I know they said back in May that it was unlikely that they would use their waitlist, but I received a phone call in late May or early June offering me a spot on an extended waitlist that would be open until late July. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can’t figure out if I still have a chance or if they just kind of forgot about me.</p>

<p>I’m not speaking from experience, but I think schools still go to their waitlist. Isn’t that what “summer melt” is all about?</p>
<p>FWIW, I was told last week that UVA closed their waitlist the week before (end of June/first few days in July).</p>

<p>Washington Univ in St Louis has been calling waitlisted students the past few days and offering them spots.</p>
