<p>Anyone have any updates on UMich and UChicago?</p>
<p>I just read on UM waitlist thread that most probably they wont go to the waitlist ,I also chated with someone in admissions on their website and she said the same.</p>
<p>Michigan is on both the schools going to their waitlist and the schools not going thread?!? and multiple people claim to have spoken to admissions people; some are saying there will be waitlist acceptances some are saying there will not be. i don’t know who to believe. </p>

<p>I spoke to u michigan yesterday to have them remove my son from the waitlist. Unlike some of the other schools that he was waitlisted at, they did not make any statement such as, we are almost done with the waitlist.</p>
<p>I spoke to them online via live chat on last friday. I keep contacting them weekly basis and get the same unclear answer.</p>
<p>Just heard yesterday that students on the waitlist for University of Maryland should hear this week or next week.</p>
<p>My son received a letter from NYU yesterday advising the class is full but wants to know by June 8 if he wants to continue being on the waitlist in the event someone drops out during the summer. They stated “No gurantees”. </p>
<p>We’re also getting inconsistent messages on Michigan. We’ve stopped worrying about it. If it happens it happens. </p>

<p>my daughter got a letter today that Vassar has released their waitlist. I also posted this on the what colleges are NOT going to the waitlist thread.</p>
<p>Umich has decisions out for lot of students. looks like they didn’t take anyone off the waitlist this year.</p>

<p>Wellesley College closed their waitlist</p>
<p>To my knowledge, Dartmouth hasn’t taken anyone off their waitlist. They did narrow the list; however, it’s uncertain whether or not they’ll pull anyone off the extended WL.</p>

<p>My son got a letter from Emory a few days ago saying they were releasing their wait list. Although, they stated that ‘there is a remote possibility that a larger number of confirmed students than anticipated may cancel their enrollment over the summer. So, let us know if you want to be on our extended wait list’.</p>
<p>They also encouraged them to apply as a transfer student after one or two years of college elsewhere. Thought that was interesting.</p>

<p>NO!!! this is a recap of all the schools going to their waitlist!!! I’ve been accepted to Boston University, Boston College, and NYU. denied to Columbia, Brown and Duke. I’ve decided for Boston University pre med.</p>
