Living in US but no green card?

I've lived in the US since fourth grade but I dont have a green card yet. Would I be considered in the admissions process with international students?

And if so, would it be an advantage or disadvantage that I went to high school in the US?

Yes, if you do not have a U.S. citizenship/permanent residency, schools will be considering you as an international student. If you are Mexican/Canadian though, some schools will still offer you need-blind admission process (i.e. UPenn). It's probably to your advantage that the universities will be familiar with your school system.
