My son was told by an admissions counselor that they got a record number of applications this year. I think that is happening every year. My older son got into UCLA in 2015 and at that time, they said they got a record 110k applications. But every year since then, they’ve also broken records. This must be because students today are applying to up to a dozen schools at a time
Just waitlisted from LMU for film production
Is there anyone who still hasn’t heard who are deferred film production applicants? I’m worried they lost my application at this point.
UPDATE: just heard, like as I posted this. Waitlisted 
@PurpleWatermelon I thought that too, but just a few minutes ago I randomly logged into my portal and found a new update. There are still people who haven’t received their decisions in film production.
My son applied EA and got deferred for screenwriting. We’ve been waiting since October. He got deferred in December and then rolled into the RD pool.

Just got Waitlisted with a 3.8 gpa and 1360 sat. Really thought I would get in.
My son was also Waitlisted. Oh well…congrats to those who got in. Everyone else have faith…you’ll find the college or university that’s right for you and you’ll shine.

@rocknix deadline for freshman or transfers which was march 15th? I’m trying to figure out when will transfer decisions be posted or if they handle the freshman applications first

Just got waitlisted. 4.05 W GPA
1090 SAT lots of extracurriculars varsity tennis all four years and captain one year. I also did a program there this summer. Marketing major.
