I’ve emailed the transfer office asking a question and they haven’t responded back yet. I emailed them Wednesday and I’m getting anxious. I’m going to call and leave a message so hopefully they respond back faster. Has anyone had this problem too where they take long to respond?
Does anyone know how bad Ws affect my chances of acceptance? I have 3ws on my transcript, but my GPA is 3.8. My major is Political Science. I am honestly scared that I am going to get rejected because of my Ws.
@waterpologoalie0 I’m still waiting on a decision but I hope not: I have FIVE! But, I took the time to explain the discrepancies with the W’s, how I took the courses later (A’s across the board) and why I had to withdraw initially at the time I applied. I would assume that if you retook the course, as I did, it won’t have much of a repercussion.
@mrblondeisdead I am still waiting on a decision! My mistake was not explaining the 1 W I had at the time I applied. The other 2 Ws are from the spring semester, so I could not really explain those. I hope we hear back soon because I am getting anxious.
Has anyone heard back from LMU? I applied in March but was asked to submit a Mid Term Report. I submitted my final grades to them a couple of weeks ago, and have not heard anything.
@waterpologoalie0 I still haven’t heard anything but to be honest I stopped thinking about it. I’ve already accepted another school and even have my classes for Fall registered. I believe those that haven’t heard will be hearing this week, according to their wave of admissions!
For those of you who are still waiting to hear back from LMU, I received an admission decision today at 11 a.m. I was admitted to the university as a Political Science Major. Here are my stats:
