I did the may sat and got 1710 and got 1860 in the june one.

I’m taking the oct one again and I want to get a 700-750 on math.I got a 570 this time.

I find that sat tutors are really costly so i am thinking of taking classes with a general math teacher who takes tuition classes for high-schools

Do you guys think its better to go for a sat tutor instead?

well, I don’t think you need to go to a specific math tutor, unless you are having problems keeping on time or anything along those lines. SAT doesn’t have any high level math, or some special topics, so you should be fine with a regular high school math tuition teacher.

Its actually more effective, then taking tuition, to study at home and practice the math portion by doing drills. Like I said, it doesn’t have any high level math, so it can be done by practicing at home, if you are determined.
