<p>Organizing a successful campaign for something like this – and organizing some follow-up activities such as workshops on dating violence, fundraising or volunteering for a battered women’s shelter – would be the type of EC that could stand out in admissions and make a big difference in people’s lives.</p>

<p>"Teen dating violence is a silent epidemic - one in three teens experience some form of abuse and 2/3 of those who do, never report it.</p>

<p>Raise awareness for teen dating violence by wearing your heart on your sleeve the whole month of February. Make your own heart or get Break the Cycle’s heart stickers by:</p>

<p>Thanks Northstarmom. I know a lot of people who have been in physically and mentally abusive relationships and our school was looking for something just like this. I’ll bring it up to my counselor.</p>
