Looking for an official / reliable source of Essay Reviewers

D is an OK writer and after many weeks of many drafts and many edits, she has what she thinks could be close to a final draft. I have read it too many times to be objective. I need to find a kind reviewer to give it a look. D is a fabulous student, loves math and science- ELA , not so much so this has been a burden of all burdens for her. But she has a fun and interesting story to tell. I only want to send it to one or two reviewers. How to find the experienced volunteer? Thanks!

You can post in the “College Essays” forum and look in the “Consolidated List of Essay Readers” thread (it’s pinned at the top - I may not have the title exactly right). You’re welcome to send the essay to me (more info about me in the essay readers thread), but I have about fourteen other essays that I’m working on right now, so it may take me a couple of days to get back to you.

I’m sure you know this, but for anyone who may read this thread that doesn’t know this: remember to only send your essay to, as @DoDEAMom18‌ said, reliable posters. To me, this means someone with more than 500 posts, a reliable posting history (AKA, those 500+ posts aren’t just them volunteering to read people’s essays - lots of “likes” and “helpful” votes are good). Some people feel nervous about sending their essays to other applicants, like me, which I totally understand. Theoretically, if you choose a poster you know is reliable and helpful, you won’t have to worry about them using the essay “for evil”, haha.

I hope I’ve helped, and let me know if you have any remaining questions. :)
