Are there other colleges in SC, NC, or FL that you think she should add to her list?

Congrats on your fine record.

On cost, worry less about merit but more about out of pocket cost.

A school that’s $90K that gives you $30K merit is more than a school that $40K full cost, etc.

For your list - I don’t see Clemson happening.

FAU - the Honors College is in Jupiter and is very small. It’s not in Boca. FAU is likely.

USF - target to reach

ECU - yes

WCU - yes

CCU - yes

Florida - FGCU

SC - U of SC, Francis Marion, Winthrop, Lander. C of C but housing is outrageously expensive.

NC - UNC Charlotte, UNCG are worth looks.

You don’t have GA on the list - but Georgia Southern could be interesting. And Georgia College and State U. And you don’t have TN - but how about ETSU.

Should she add - not necessarily. You have acceptances like WCU - and it’s a low cost school.

Good luck.

update - unweighted GPA is a 3.64

I didn’t see a way to edit the original post

Is there a hard limit on costs above which will not be possible to afford at all?

Furman has a stellar dance program, phenomenal pre-health including department of community engaged medicine, and gives great merit. Id certainly add to list and see if it makes the numbers in the spring when your family is making decisions.

Converse also has fine arts and has prehealth though it’s strength is in health administration.

East Carolina has a large health sciences program. I believe USC-Upstate also has several related majors, and in-state tuition.

At almost any school you are going to be able to find a heath professions track. Public health is a less common program, although you seem to have found a large number of options. Very different college tracks so your daughter is going to have to pick one.

I agree that it might be a good idea to add UNC Greensboro. OOS total costs are currently under $35,000 a year.
