Congrats!!
Hi, Iâm a high school senior whose done with all college applications. I applied to LSU on 10/4 and I wondering when I should expect a decision from them? I applied with a 4.1 unweighted gpa and 24 act score. I also applied to the honors college. Any advice or answers will be appreciated.
I think you will find if you scroll up through some of the previous posts, there is not a standard to provide you with. It seems to be sporadic and would be a guess by anyone answering on here. Good luck! The waiting is hard.
BTW, my son received acceptance last night at 9:31pm but there wasnât much besides the letter congratulating him on his acceptance. Nothing on the Honors College was mentioned.
Still nothing. Ugh
Morning. I was curious, did LSU ever send anything in the mail post portal notification? My son was accepted but it seems the information around acceptance is lacking, unless you confirm acceptance. Is that what you found too? Just trying to see if we are missing the boat somewhere.
We are just not ready to commit yet and was hopeful for more information.
We have not received anything in the mail either.
When did your child apply?
We are from the Northeast (MA) and my daughter applied but we havenât visited. She loves the campus through video but concerned about the safety of Baton Rouge. Did you visit and do you have any safety concerns? Thanks
We spent a day there last month and loved the campus as well. As a parent, I did not have any concerns about safety - canât speak to the surrounding area or Baton Rouge as a whole, but feel the campus is very safe, would have no concerns sending our daughter there.
The area by campus is very safe IMO. We have visited several times because we have family in Baton Rouge, we are in Texas. But, I think it is as safe as anywhere in a city is. Very pretty by campus too IMO.
He applied mid August and got in a few weeks ago. But nothing in the mail.
Just took one for the group and called admissions just now. No set time on when we will hear something. Just said that applications are in reviewâŠ
Itâs so annoying. No idea why they take ten times as long as other rolling admissions
My D25 just got acceptance notification (OOS). Applied Mid September.
Congrats!!
Canât believe still no decision. Is this the slowest working rolling admissions college in the US or am I crazy
I donât think at this point they can call it rolling.
It should be called crawling. My child heard from Michigan state, which is EA, well over a month ago and he applied to both on the same day.
Whose turn is it to call admissions this week? lol
Im kind of assuming that at this point we wonât here til next week at the earliest. Also kinda thinking if my child were going to be admitted heâd have heard by now but I guess it does seem like lots havenât heard anything from them. I just figured since we heard so quickly from bama we would hear quickly from lsu but I guess the joke is on me
