Low class rank but valid excuse

So throughout highschool I got straight A’s no B’s. I take many rigorous classes. However, for sophomore year I started a new school. In my old school durring freshman year I took 7 honors classes and got all A’s. However heres the problem. In my old school if you got a 90-100 it went in as the same grade, an A (they dont do plus or minus), this sucks b/c in some classes I had like 100’s. The state likes to do this thing where they calculate an average out of 100 (it is weighted by the way too). They treat an A as a 95. My average should be higher than a 95. Not only this but all my honors classes werent even weighted so that made my weighted gpa lower and my average is lower than what it should be. Now my new school weighs classes and you get the actual grade you deserve like a 100. my average is like a 98 approx. But my schools competitive and that puts me at a rank of 30/800 which is top 5%. If my legitimate grades were entered and they were weighed I would have had a 100 average or higher and that would have put me in the top 10 kids in my school. This isnt my fault. I want to go to an ivy. My other stats are good. What do I do to inform top schools about my reason for having a lower gpa/ rank? DO i write them a letter or will they figure this out on their own? My gpa uw is 3.99 weighted is 4.27.

How is 30/800 a low class rank?

30/800 is top 3 percent, I would do anything to be in the top 3 percent. You sound like a grade stickler to me. The grades are still A’s, chill. You’re still very eligible for Ivies.
