Low GPA (3.2) HIGH SAT (97th percentile)

I have a 3.2 unweighted GPA but 97th percentile score on SAT. Do I have a chance at getting the Vice Chancellor Scholarship at Queens University in Belfast?

There are only 2 VC scholarships / year, so you are competing with ~1800 other students.

All you have given us is to guess as to your chances is a good-enough-for-admission GPA, and a comparatively strong SAT. What about APs/SAT subjects tests? Do you have anything else that makes you “exceptional”?

Also, have you already been accepted or are you looking ahead to next year? you can’t apply for it until you have an offer.

@collegemom3717 I am in a similar situation. I have received an offer from Queen University Belfast and have already chosen it as my priority University. I have applied for the Vice Chancellor’s scholarship and I hope I get it because it’s the only way I can attend college this year. My GCE O level Grades are 9As 2As (A in Maths and Add maths) and my predicted A level grades are 1A* (Math) 4As (Further maths, phy, chem and economics). Apart from this, I was part of the winning company at the International Space settlement Design Competition (Kennedy Space Center, Florida). My major is actuarial science and have already received a 2500 Pound scholarship from the University. What are my chances of getting the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship?

You have good scores, and a nice extra. Question, of course is: are you one of the most dazzling students to apply for the VC scholarship in your year? nobody here has any way to know that. But: we can wish you bonne chance!

You are right. There’s no way I can know the outcome before the results are announced.I hope I get it. Thank you for your reply

I have 98.2% in 12th. That should be A* in all 5 subjects. Plus some national level awards in essay writing and gold medal in an international level essay competition. How good is my profile for the scholarship? Will my grades be exceptional for QUB? I am applying next year for llb but I won’t be able to attend the uni without the scholarship.
Please help…

Too all those wondering, I didn’t get the scholarship :frowning:

ah, condolences @ma22 :frowning:

Do you have a plan B?
