I have 78 on TOEFL ibt exam. i also got an acceptance from some US colleges. Do you think that low TOEFL score causes problem in getting US visa? Also, i know it is also about my presentation with consular. How far low TOEFL score will cause my visa denial although i have other things perfect?</p>
<p>78 is not a great score, but a good one.
Most of the average-ish universities ask for at least 79 on TOEFL.
So, yes, 78 means you can GO. </p>
<p>For visa, the most important thing is Finance.
If the visa interviewer thinks you can survive in USA without any financial hardships; the result will always be positive.
So, if your financial documents seem great, everything else will be great :)</p>
<p>In my opinion, TOEFL scores are just one of those things that make a difference only if your other parts are glaringly fraudulent or missing. If you can speak proper English and communicate well with the consul, I doubt that they will deny your visa just because your TOEFL score is 78. Just make sure you communicate your answers carefully!!</p>
