<p>Congratulations to the semifinalists! Someone pointed out earlier that the letter says being named semi does not necessarily mean you will receive a scholarship. There are quite a few scholarships, but there are also quite a few more semifinalists than there are scholarships. My D was a semifinalist last year, but she did not get a scholarship. She did, however, get a Best Buy scholarship. In other words, don’t be discouraged if you don’t get one or another scholarship … you never know which one might be your lucky one! Keep filling out those forms & think positive thoughts. :)</p>
