<p>For the BFA Application that is send directly to the School of Theatre with your resume, head shot, essay, additional transcript and 3 letters of recommendation, do you send 3 “arts-related” letters or should you include an academic letter like the ones sent to the regular Office of Admissions?</p>

It is your choice, although we would like to see one letter address the student’s artistic ability and dedication.</p>

<p>ALL4FSU, I gave 3 of my teachers at my arts high school in New Orleans envelopes with the School of Theatre/FSU’s address on them to send whenever they were finished, not thinking about what the BFA application said. So, everything I sent with the BFA application is there, except for those 3 rec letters, which were mailed. Is that ok?</p>

That’s absolutely fine. Some teachers will only send them directly. Sometimes we won’t receive them in a timely manner, but try not to fret - they always seem to show up eventually.</p>
