Hi guys! Got into Mgshss which was my first priority. Allhamdullillah! People who have not yet gotten a response should calm down and chill. I know something like this is pretty intense but losing hope is not a good option. I have a few friends who have gotten in and are not planning to attend LUMS (im from Karachi). There will be alot of people who’re gonna give up their seats and I think they will start sending more offers after 10th May. Plus the offers are gonna keep coming till june end so chill out and pray you get an acceptance
@Ib1349 congratulations. What are your credentials?
@Ib1349 congrats. when did u get your decision?
thanks @Theanimegirl for your kind words btw did u get your acceptance and what are your credentials if u dont mind me asking
Thankyou! I had 6A* 3As in olevels. 2 As and an A* (gave an accelerated subject) in AS and 1360 sat. Got my acceptance on 22nd.
Hey folks! I applied for the first round and gave SAT in December. I have scored 92% in matric and 81% in FSc Part 1, 1200 (600/600) and 6/4/6 in SAT-I. It seems that if the guys who have scored better than me academically are still waiting for their decisions, there is no hope for me. Lucky for me I have applied to other universities too. Anyway, I hope all of you get accepted into your preferred schools. Congratulations in advance
Those who have applied only to LUMS are either very foolish or very confident about getting in I hope it’s the latter because you can’t count on an unpredictable institute like LUMS.
Guys, is it so that those who made their accounts at the last day will receive results late? Is it possible that our result depends upon the registration number??
I got 93% in Matric, 80% in Fsc and a 1300 SAT score. I’ve also taken a gap year. Applied to MGSHSS (first preference) and SAHSOL (2nd).
I haven’t applied in any other university. Also guys if someone can give me an idea, how is NUST economics? And should I apply to any other universities? Suggest some.
Btw, when does it say ‘processing status’ ? Mine only says submitted under the status.
@fmlwithoutlube nups i havent heard from lums abhii tek touu. I got 1A3A4B in Olevels. 1230 in SAT. I gave one Alevels exam in oct nov and got an A.rest i am gonna give in may. What are your credentials?
@Theanimegirl I have 91.71% in matric, 77% in fsc, and 1320 in SAT
@Theanimegirl i have only applied in sdsb so I don’t have a chance
@neekastic For economics i think u should apply for FAST, NUST and LSE because all of them provide degrees of good value for your discipline of interest. I applied to SBASSE (CS Major) and I am still waiting for a decision. My application also states “Submitted” under processing status tab. Don’t worry you will get a decision within the given time frame. Good luck
Bro FAST I think doesn’t offer economics
Has anyone here applied to LSE?
@LordRaven38 Thankyou. Let’s wait then. It’s just the suspense is killing me. Fingers crossed.
@nerdforever7 Not me. But I want to know how is it? Also, how is economics for a subject to pursue if anyone has an idea?
I’m an overseas student (American schooling system), I haven’t gotten an admission decision yet (“successfully submitted”), but I was wondering whether overseas American and Canadian grades get converted. I called them a while ago and the lady on the phone said they don’t change grades or anything but take them at face value. She also mentioned that the IBCC equivalence is just a formality and it is only your grade 9-12 marks that are actually considered. What doesn’t make sense to me is that the various schooling systems are different in difficulty and grading, how are they then able to make a reasoned judgment when picking people with the highest “merit” considering of course that there is no universal grading system. Another question: are foreign applications processed separately, and therefore might take longer in the processing?
