They have two months for the selection process like why are you so slow
Any updates anyone?
I think they began reviewing our applications from 1st April
April 30. Remember the date .
@IjazSahab yeah i think so too
Hey everyone, I was hoping to get some feedback regarding my chances of acceptance at LUMS.
Here are my credentials:
IGCSE: 3A*'s, 2A’s and a B
AS level: 2A’s and a B
SAT: 1230
@Lsr2000 your SAT score may be below their usual average average of 1300 but your grades are perfectly fine so hopefully they’ll look at 2/3 things instead of basing the admission solely on your SAT score.
My 1st priority is Economics School
U guys have any backup unis
I don’t lol
Can’t find any decent university in Pakistan to go to other than LUMS.
what about you?
IBA is equally good as LUMS however it’s in Karachi that’s the only downside otherwise it’s a perfectly fine uni for business programs. I’ve been accepted there just waiting on LUMS as it’s my first option. Another option I’m not too sure about is the Lahore School of Economics.
Does someone knows the acceptance rate at LUMS? Also that how many applicants were there last year
Backup Universities:
NUST but its is equally hard. Moreover there admission is solely based on merit which has its ups and downs.
Abroad is the only other option
I’m not sure about the acceptance rate but you can check out LUMS profile book for a number of students in each school and class profile average SAT score and O level grades etc.
BTW if u get more than 2100 SAT 2 you can easily get admitted in NUST civil engineering programme on an international seat.
I think every uni other than Aga Khan and LUMS have a merit-based system
Congrats on getting accepted to IBA dude !! you’re safe. At least you have an option
I am not… I completely depend on lums lol
Idek when i’ll get an acceptance.
Which schools did u apply to?
