@ha1999 yr a girl Ik from FSc got in with a gap year and okayish credentials yr. she applied last year as well and got rejected.
@neekastic I’m in the same boat here dude. No idea what they want. Things would’ve felt a little clearer if we weren’t gap students. Then at least we’d know. Here people with less credentials are being accepted and we still don’t know.
@ha1999 mid May or like the 3rd week quite a few acceptances came.

@ha1999 yr honestly if LUMS is really about the ‘hashtag meri matters’ then you’ll get in definitely you’ve got good credentials
@ha1999 there’s no date for rejections. I know people who’ve already got their rejection not much but there were a few. Kher idk if the Mid June thing is true.

@neekastic Probably fast because I’m from Lahore and I don’t want to go out of city. I spent a month at NUST last year because they didn’t ask for A level grades I didn’t have any uss time, but just a trial to see. I got in materials there and it sucks big time if you’re a girl. Idk but a lahori can’t just easily settle there. They have communal bathrooms I was on the 4th floor no AC’s and it just sucked

@neekastic I don’t think it’s all about merit matters at all. I think there’s something else which we clearly don’t know. Maybe to an extent the merit thing is true, maybe not.

@ha1999 really? How is NUST with the program like other than hostel and settling in, everything was good?
@ha1999 yr agr it’s about only merit then merit doesn’t need to be hidden. But there definitely other things they consider. Otherwise it would’ve been simpler
@ha1999 the two guys I know had really good grades and got rejected. Idk about others
