hey guys so i checked the website and it says decisions will come out from 22nd april to 30th july. I just wanted to ask do you think i have a good chance of getting into the social sciences programme (mghss)? my SAT score is 1170, O level grades: 1 A*, 5 A’s, 3 B’s (including urdu literature), my AS grades: 1 A, 1 B and the other subject (psychology) I’m giving is accelerated. I’m from lyceum and i’m also part of the student council and head of a society so will that matter? I’ve applied for history as my major and my current history teacher’s (who also wrote my recommendation letter) brother teaches there.

@morty99 your O level and AS grades are decent, not sure about your SAT score but then you can never be sure about LUMS so good luck
@IjazSahab oh ok. I applied last year and got rejected. My SAT was too low; 1220. Plus, I applied to pretty competitive schools. What are your stats by the way?

guys is the competition for the social sciences programme tough? i heard people with 1100+ can easily get in?
From what I’ve heard SDSB is hardest to get in then SBASSE, MGHSS and the easiest school to get into is law school
do they call the shortlisted applicants for interviews first or are they in directly?
@morty99 I don’t think they even conduct interviews. I haven’t heard about anyone ever going for a LUMS interview at undergrad level.
@IjazSahab I have 75% Matric, 72% Inter, SAT 1380, SAT Math 2, 800 and Physics 700. Also some work experience.
