@mianali391 Great! My SAT score was 1240.
@mianali391 And essay score was 16
anyone who have applied to lums with 75% in olevels or matric pls show up (comment)
Here!
@Eli34 Your sat score? U got your acceptance?
My O-level grades are crappy, as compared to my A-levels and SAT.
@FasihZ Atleast not crappy than mine i have 8bs
I haven’t received anything as of yet.
I had a 1280 score but tons of ECs and I poured a lot of effort into my essays.
Honestly, its been nerve wracking but I’m hopeful!
Less than 10 days and we enter the month of June. Heard from somebody that the second round offers will start coming out from May 8th.
Oh man, the wait is killing me :(((
Why am I getting an email to explain my gap year now? Isn’t this too late?
Hey @FasihZ
Were you asked to explain the gap year thing while submitting the application too?
someones portal is updated
Yeah, but he was a first round applicant. Still no sign of second round acceptances.
First round isn’t over. i talked to the admissions people through the chat box on the portal. they said first round isn’t isn’t over.
i think only the first instalment of first round acceptances have been released.
And lums’ admission process is know for being slow, and this year due to covid, things will be further delayed. Lets just take care of ourselves, our families and hope for the best.
I got an email asking for my statement of entries from the last two years. I panicked.
@Irum664 No they never asked me about my gap years before. This is the first time I’ve been asked, and that’s why it’s so weird—why are they contacting me so late?
@FasihZ Maybe they went through your application recently. Are u a first round applicant?
@Irum664 There was this section on the application for the applicants who took a gap year. You had to fill it out with details about what you did during your gap year.
There was no option related to gap year in my application form does that mean I filled it wrong?
@pengy7 Well, while filling out the application, they asked whether you’ve completed your Post Secondary level or are you still in alevels or fsc.
If u chose 'completed post secondary level ’ then they asked the month in which u received the result.
If, lets say, the month was September, another box showed up on the application titled ‘Gap year information’ followed by the question: What did u do after completing your Post Secondary Level Degree?
So u basically just had to write down what youve been upto during those months. I wrote stuff like preparing for the December SAT e.t.c
So if you chose all the options that i mentioned, then the gap year information box would have surely showed up.
