M10 2025 Freakout Thread!

I agree with this, but yk we all are between 13-15

better to just sit in angst

In at Groton. Son went 3 for 3 pending official confirmation from the school we got the alumni spoiler from tonight!

And now… how the hell are we going to pay for this?

yeah, tons of people say “applying for: 9th” or even their literal age/grade in chanceme posts so I don’t think it’s too big of a deal, all of us are probably close to that range. But thank you for looking out for me lol

If your gut is telling to wait for your mom you should wait.

on the topic of groton I’m just remembering how me and my interviewer spent 10 minutes talking about how we both hate eggs :sob: does anybody else have some funny moments from interviews to share while we wait?

my interviewer went to Andover and we bonded over that might be why I wasnt accepted

my interviewer and I talked about the uprising in pickleball popularity.

what school? did you already hear back or just speculation? I think subjectively my Andover interview went well (not trying to jinx myself) but at one point I almost called the school “Exeter”. Smooth save but could have ended very badly

at groton

Had this one interview at 3am and I bonded with the teacher about time zones .LMBO

ohh i see. tbh that’s a really tricky situation to be in, I wouldn’t know what to do

im okay w it my interviewer was really nice!!

even if I get rejected everywhere, I still think this process has really helped me a lot and at least gives me a leg up at my LPS. Doing interviews, writing serious essays, researching schools… I learned a lot of stuff that otherwise I probably wouldn’t have learned until applying to college and I think I’ve become significantly more mature/smarter throughout this whole thing
