For full-pay parents, do you pay for TRP if you can avoid it? I know it’s a lot of money for the year but what are the odds something happens? I actually don’t know any case kids quit halfway for whatever reason. Probability wise, I would like to avoid it. What’s your experience? Thank you!
We are doing it. We actually used it when our child was in preschool and we ended up moving 2/3 though the school year. We will probably do it for first two years of BS, but after that I think likelihood goes way down.

We never did but always recognized we were taking a risk of loss in the event of a serious illness or injury. We weren’t worried about disciplinary issues or relocation.

Hello everyone, after a long and taxing journey of navigating admissions, I’ve finally committed to one of my dream schools, thankyou for all of your help. I’ve made some truly wonderful friends with all the people here too. i might come here to lurk and or ask any questions regarding fitting into boarding school. regardless, thankyou so much for this wonderful community.
