idk about you guys but I’m lwk starting to be scared and have watched almost every bs video on yt
I haven’t done my essays yet, which is really bad cause my essays need to be good since my application is very mid.
Same with me and on top of that I think my topic is rlly cliche so I am rewriting it for the 3rd time😭
I got my results back on Friday and I got 70th percentile. Wanted higher, but I believe that’s still good enough for elite boarding schools

Running around trying to make sure I have all my recommendations😭 Hopefully getting an extra teacher because I can’t get my special interest rec as I don’t know my new coach enough…

Reporting on behalf of my 8th-grade daughter, she has had a final list for a while, requested all her recommendations, has a test score she is comfortable with to submit, but is still working on essays. At her K-8 they also do a second quarter with grades that report in time for applications, so she is making sure that goes as well as possible.

Hey y’all— geriatric, ex-applicant here. I applied during the 2024 cycle for junior year, and just wanted to come in and wish you guys luck as J15 approaches. It’s hard, but you guys have got this!! (and a little extra love to the 11th grade applicants, I feel ur pain)
Culver, Western Reserve, Shady Side Academy, Mercersburg, Madeira, and Episcopal. Shady Side is local for us, but she would do it as a boarding student.

11th grade applicant here, literally my last resort but I have a lot of faith! i literally refuse to be stuck in IB
sorry for all the extra yap today but… WE ARE OFFICIALLY 10 DAYS OUT FROM JAN 15!!! hope everybody’s getting all their stuff sorted! my essays are nearly perfect, recs have been confirmed (thank gosh), graded essay is on it’s way (english teacher hasn’t acc assigned us anything so I wrote my own and he’s grading that) and last but not least emails are being sent out to AOs about any extra and new things!
okay more yap but I was wondering if anybody knew if the J15 deadline is for 11:59pm UTC or like due at 12:00am UTC
